The Hitler analogy is a red herring , a bogus side trip to get the debate off track. The situations were not at all the same. Saddam was contained and could have been contained even more so. The USA wanted to control the economy of Irag and wants to control the entire Middle East. It's about oil but even more so about control.

The ONLY reason we haven't nuked NK off the planet is because of the MILLIONS of people who would suffer in SK. It has nothing to do with NK's perceived strength. NK has nothing and we could flatten it if we didn't care about SK and the rest of the region. And that is a FACT!

As a Jewish American I consider that to be a sick and disgusting insult that trivializes the horror that hitler was. This is the kind of trivialization of hitler which will cause the world to forget how truly sick and evil that no good nazi was. This is just BS. This has me so pissed off. I am leaving right now before I really go off. What a crock. Damn I am so pissed off at this. I am definitely voting for Bush in 2004 now. I do not care about the rest of the world's opinion of my country anymore. Damn I am pissed. This isn't funny.

Hitler and Bush are not in the same league.....not even close. Anyone who believes that they are has either a distorted view of history, or a distorted view of the present. So why would people compare the two? To answer this, you have to take not just a look at Bush and Hitler, but at the people making the statement as well. In other words, consider the source as part of the equation. There is more going on here than meets the average eye.
