SINTZ
Why are you not coming for the IC-Meeting 3rd. of September over here?
I would fill you up with beer and besides "Yellow Jumps Twice" and a surprise guest (maybe a girl you like HAHAHA) my band and Kate will also perform )
Debbie :: ))
Oooops... I hope you were not shocked by the raw jam!
Thanks for listening! *ACK* I do not think I would survive an outdoor gig in the tropical Hongong sun with a friggin' roof! LOL
Just watched the video!! COOL! You guys are more a listening band than a live performance band I think. I've been judging bands for the last 6 weeks and it's affected my postings, please ignore this last comment.

Chris
I belong to the fraction of people who usually go to a concert because of the music. I mean there's nothing worse than watching posers doing noise only, isn't it? It was never my own or my band's thing to do run around the stage like freaks while playing wrong chords (you cannot run around when you have to play some nice progressions). We are simply no action puppies, that's why we don't play the big venues LOL Well, there are many who are better theater players than performers only I want to be a musician not an actor HAHA I mean, usually we work a lot with moving lights and lasers when we have the chance and the right location. This makes up for the lack of 'action' (especially during slow songs : ))))
Today I got some photos and I will spam the thread later tonight with some impressions I have to scan before properly )
Bud
My "HAHAHA" was meant to be positive
I just thanked you for listening and even if you would not
like what you hear and see I would be interested in your opinion

I absolutely second that. I like a good visual performance too, but if that's all there is and crap vocalist and/or other front people, to me thats a crap band.

Oh believe me the music is very important!! I would say MOST people go to concerts because of the music, Mike!! Including me.
Some bands are meant to be watched and some bands are meant to be heard (great CD sales etc.) When you have a combination of the two you have a winning formula - think U2, think Queen, think David Bowie, etc. etc.
There are plenty of bands that look good and sound shit - you never watch them again and never buy their albums (god forbid if they actually make them!!!)
MBAF & Kate Cassidy sound awesome! You guys ought to be selling albums at your live gigs. People would MOST definitely BUY them!

Debbie
Thanks for supporting my lack of 'action'! HAHA
But honestly, I can enjoy a good 'action' act but not more than 30 minutes. Foremost I want to hear some live performed music. The problem with most 'action' acts is that the price for the 'action' is (partial) playback (see even the Rolling Stones). Well, my band is far from being a 'act', however we enjoy if somebody like what they see live from us
Drooly!
Your gif's are cool!
Paul! LOL
Of course I did NOT wear a Newcastle team shirt! LOL
But the resemblance is blatant (at least when watching
me on the lo-res video). Actually it was my usual Panther shirt
Chris
I mean compared to your band activities uor gigs seem lame action-wise, but to rescue my honor... we also play faster tracks and even we can walk and shake around a little bit

Ha Mike....
It does look like it dont it!!....
Anyway about acts/bands etc running around..........
Your right, you cant jump around and play like you's do!!
And Queen........ although Queen are my god.......They did have a guy called Spike Edney back stage doing guitar, piano and keys!!... so while Brian May was strutting around with his curly hair and lead...... he always had back up!!... Freddie on the other hand was just an awsome performer!!......
