I remember how everyone thought the world was gonna explode when it turned 2000...



My roomate went out and bought army gear. When I asked him why, he said "I'm gonna be READY"...

a friend of mine from New Zealand actually went back home in Nov 1999 and moved into a cave in the mountain with supplies and stuff and didn't come out till Feb 2000 to find the world hadn't changed. He said "Better safe than sorry" He ended up being an extra in those Lord of the Rings movies....
