Don't know if you've ever seen the movie "Fargo", M68, but here in Minnesota and parts of surrounding states, it's "Yah". Not yup or yep. (Especially when you get out of the cities.)



And the "Yah" can be dragged out into 3 or my syllables - sometimes just for the helluvit. Yaaaaah.....

By way of example check out the wav from "Fargo" at this page. It's a dead on use of "Yah" in usual conversion.
