Returning from England...

ED1G Your mail unfortunately reached me after we all

had departed I'm truly sorry that I didn't call,

but I had no chance for any Internet access. Anyway,

I have your number now!





Oh well, we returned last night and I feel quite exhausted,

but it was a great festival with 11 bands in total, fireworks,

Disco til the cow came home... As a plus the weather

and people overall were fantastic!



We played in the middle around 7pm, but were unfortunately

the only band where the P.A. and backline power went off

for exactly 3 times I mean, we all talk about a conspiracy

here because I know outages who last once but are

resolved quickly. Now we had it three times and it turned out

to be the case that somebody plugged all 32Ampere stuff

(namely the P.A. and lights) onto the 16Ampere backline

plug-board just before our gig. I mean no normal person in the

business does that and the electrician who came by car

quickly from Bromyard 20 minutes later said he had no clue

who changed this important setup. Further fuel is that we

heard somewhen before the festival started that some bands

complained on a sidenote why a German band was invited

while the festival is known to be a classic British one...

tsk... In any case we drove the P.A. warm and

stable for the rest of the bands then at least! HAHA



Well, we did stand the pressure and improvised with loud

shouted out rhymes while keeping the people busy with

handclapping and silly jokes



After the electrician changed the power setup to the original

and perfect condition, we played two more songs and had

a lot of fun with the audience



Late at night when the discos started, members of various

bands incl. our own did set up a small backline in the chilling

zone and we jammed in various combinations until 9am then



BTW... I had the great honor to meet Paul Carosi (the dude

who runs "radiofreetunes") from Pittsburgh. He was on a trip

to London anyway and made the effort to drive up to Hereford!!!!

A very cool guy with whom we had fun talking about the

Indies, OMD's, politics and of course drinking massively

Good to hear that you all got back in one piece with not too many hangovers



Delta is chilling out here at Nozstock , nearly everyone has left and all the clearing up is finished

I mean, really, it was a fantastic weekend and we were

all too stoned and drunk to film anything later than 8pm LOL



Julie, Pete, Rory and Kate from the organizational team did

a tremendous good job!



There were superb British bands playing later and the place was totally crowded then. The jams until the early morning with lots of different musicians were the best. There was a 14 year old boy drumming the hell out of you. I mean he was 14 and when you closed your eyes you thought there was Sir Bonham from Zeppelin at work. Incredible! Oh well, it's too

cool travelling musicalöly different countries. Lots of inspiration so to say!
