I know one or two of you have got myspace pages......

Well !! My son now has one.
Not sure how much i've said about him before, but he sings a bit.
He's been doing quite well lately, having performed at a corporate type of gig at the Le mans 24 hour races, and he's been invited back next year......... they're big payers !!
Anyways, rather like me, he's not the best at biggin' himself up.

I've been trying to get him to get something (anything ) out there for some time now.

Well he's got a myspace, with music. Nothing top notch, or proffesionally recorded, but would any of you give him a helping hand by listening and adding him to your pages ?

By the way, listen to the second song, I think I prefer that one.

Regards

and thanks in advance. in the hope that a little interest will get him properly of his arse and into a recording studio, or even onto the software I've already got.

Just listened to "Fire in Your Eyes", Ian....

Nice tune. And I quite like your son's singing... I heard some very minor glitches (a bit of "warbling" - as if he's a tad nervous when he sang, a few tiny pitch things....)

But if, as you say, this is just a "demo", ... - he has some real talent that should be developed and exploited.....

I don't have a MySpace page, so can't do much there.....

Just tell him drooly says "Get off your arse and DO something with it..!!"...

hahahaha....!

Good stuff..!

Thanks guys.

I spoke too my boy, he says thank you for listening.

I don't think these songs even constitute a demo Drooly, however, on Thursday night he won some recording time !

Apparently, the two songs on myspace were recorded a couple of years back, he'd only been singing for about a year or so then. He believes he can do a better job now.

Regards

Hey he's got a gig lined up for July 2007! That's forward planning!

Yeah Chris.
That's the gig he did this year at the Le mans 24 hour race. They've invited him back !

It's an amazing gig for him too have got ! They pay him and his guitarist a fortune !!! As well as paid travel too the gig. They play 6 hours over three days. There's other events that these people do as well.

If you're interested Chris......... he may be in HK in a year or so with his sister. They're off travelling. You play guitar, he could do a set with you. He'd love that !! He fits your height requirements 6'1".

Regards
