Cool choice of covers, sounds like you have fun with them. Joni Mitchell is a super artist.

<<The Beatles "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away".>>

Never can know too many Beatle tunes. They make great friends to be able to pull out of the hat just for one's own enjoyment, too.

I think Chuck Berry is super cover material because it's easy jamming(3 chords usually), the music is upbeat and the themes are almost eternal. Plus, they're fun to play.

In Thinking Out Loud, we do a cover of Sexual Healing that's great. Plus we do one of Madonna's "Beautiful Stranger" which is surprisingly guitar friendly!!! :banana

AHem -I'm sorry I don't know who Crowded House are.....

Men At Work? Is that the band that sounded like the Stones? You've jogged my memory now. I fancy hearing some of that stuff for old times sake. I think I might search around.

Yeah, you're redeemed Chris :D

Not that I'm a big fan of theirs, but wasn't INXS from Australia? They were big for awhile.

Police tunes always have made good covers as far as I'm concerned.....the earlier ones especially. (Message in a Bottle, Can't Stand Losing You, etc.) Sting once did a solo version of Roxanne (after he went solo) that he used as an encore.....very powerfull as a solo piece.
