We used to take in overseas students, and we enjoyed having them ! But with a three bedroom semi and four kids, we got no space these days............... but if we did ! Please say I wouldn't have to let my mother stay !!!!! :duell :argue :blah

It depends on the relatives and the living situation. I love my parents, but would put them up in a house of their own before I live with them. Just not a good idea...especially if you're married. Anybody else...bring 'em on in!

I dont think it works if you dont have the space.... I f you have loads of space, I think a year would not be a problem... :)
