TONY!!! - When you say digital cam - do you mean like a camera? I wonder if I can hook up my camera into the computer... It's just that the manual is really THICK and I have so many things to read (not trying to make excuses!!)

Chris - Digital cams can connect to the computer, yes

.. It depends what kind of camera though. Mine connects through the USB port and loads pictures from the camera. (Your camera should probably have a memory chip too??).

You know - you could check the table of contents in the manual and skip directly to the "connecting to a pc" section

Yes my digital camera - has a memory card (I just bought a new one for it!) and I use USB port to upload the photos into my computer. So stop TEASING ME! I know what I'm doing! I meant - can you use the same camera as a webcam?

I'm not sure you can use it like a "webcam" for realtime streaming. It's possible - what kind of digital cam is it? Make/Model??

Only it's quite thick for a little digital camera!!!!!

It's a Canon Power Shot S-30 - apparently I can take 30 sec video on it! Well I'll have to work that out one day!
