alas, I never got into CAN which is strange considering the other bands I was into then. I think I should try and revisit them one day. Are they still active?

I'll be downloading some of your tracks tonight (I didn't get time last night :) ). I look forward to the experience :)

Andy,

No CAN stopped their group work a long time, ago.

I'm so sad at this time.

R.I.P. Michael Karoli (Can)

Sad news indeed: www.czukay.de/news/

Miki died some few days, ago . . . He was one of the most important and best guitar players in europe.

The other members have their own projects.

My favourite is Irmin Schmidt (Keys) with Kumo from UK.

A very interesting combination of an intelligent piano performance with drum&bass styles.

I successfully downloaded Pheadra 2K, Moon Down, Spheric Fluid, The Roswell Documents and Sun Day.

Excellent! They are in my playlist and playing now.

Have you come across another ambient artist called Kelvin L Smith ? He does similar stuff to what you do, he's quite good.

If you ever come to gig in the UK you will have to let me know and I will come to see you.

cheers

Andy

Thank you for listening to our music and for downloading some tracks. Just listened to your music and I was very surprised.

A unique "handmade" style, very good .

My favorites :

Venus Sunset

H 2 Region

Pavo's Theme

Out Of The Dawn

Search for Atlantis

> No real structure to this one.

> I just played what I felt and this is the result.

I think this is a excellent statement.

We work in the same manner.

Perhaps we'll go to do some concerts in UK.

Do you this know e-music planetarium " Jordell Bank(?) " ?

This could be very interesting for ND.

Guido,

Many thanks for taking the time out to listen to my music. I am really pleased with your comments and that you like a few of my tracks :)

Regarding e-music at Jodrell Bank, this sounds very interesting indeed. I have not heard of any concerts there but I shall do some investigation. Jodrell Bank is just 30 minutes from my home and If you went to play there it would be fantastic. It is in the heart of the country and an out door concert in the lovely settings there would be really cool.

Keep me posted

Andy,

no , that can not be true. You never heard about concerts at :

Jodrell Bank is one of the largest radio telescopes in the world. It is situated in the Cheshire countryside, and the concerts take place in the adjoining Planetarium. Travel is easy via J18 of the M6, and there's a large free car park.

Please check out :

DOHHH!!!!

Thanks mate for checking my mikeburn and friends project page :D ;)

I feared the day you will discover it... :lol

Thanks tons for including "Voicemail" in your fine station !!!

(I think you are the only one so far....)

If you are interested.... I did this track as a real voicemail, which I sent to a friend, just to let him hear the sound of a Roland Vocoder plus, I had on this day available in my studio :)

Guido....

It's absolutely amazing!

I really never knew that they held concerts there.

And I thought I was *Big Fan of Electronic Music* :lol

It just goes to show how you can get wrapped up in your little family life and lose touch with what goes on out there. I don't have any friends that are into the same stuff as me either so that wouldn't help.

What also surprises me is that I have benn buying Future Music magazine now for over 5 years and I have never seen it advertised in there.

I was never taken to Jodrell Bank as a child although we drove past it many times. Last year, when my family were bored and couldn't think what to do for a day out I said "Let's go to Jodrell Bank".

"Where?" they replied :lol

So I explained that it was a large radio telescope and that it had a planetarium where they give a show on the starsa and planets.

So off we went and had a great day out. That was my first ever visit.

I've just visited the link you posted above and have e-mailed Dave Law to ask him to let me know of any frothcoming events.

many, many thanks for that Guido :)
