The call was also played on our TV, Priscilla (with her words displayed in English) and you are right: it was horrible and beyond words.

The Spanish people make up a good nation and will hold their new leader accountable as much as they did the one they voted out. But I do tend to agree with Mark's observation.

The Spainards are in mourning, shock and anger. More than a quarter of the whole nation took to rain-drenched streets to protest against terrorism. Just a few thousand protested against the former leader. They are a good and decent people who have borne a huge tragedy they did not deserve. I don't believe the Spaish people will allow their leaders - whoever their leader(s) may be - to not bring the human scum who did this terrible thing to judgment.
