That's true, BUT La Palma is the wrong place to let babies swim HAHA
You have to be a tough swimmer to stay alive at aleast.

I didn't have the luck to wittness this kind of waves this time with my own camera, but smaller ones. Look here, what is considered "small waves" in Tazacorte/La Palma on a sunny day without wind (!!!), including my own wimpy voice LOL:

Hi Mike.
We've only been too three Canary Isles.
Lanzarote, Fuertaventura, and Gran Canaria.

I guess at the moment Gran is our fav as we returned for the last five years. I like the rugged sides of all three islands (west)

Hey Mike, if you like raw nature.......... try Iceland !! We went there last February. It's kind of cold, but the landscape is totally amazing !! Volcanos, Glaciers, Hot springs, Geysers, huge waterfalls.......... and the northern lights !!

I'll dig some photos out and post if you like?

We're off to Madeira in four weeks, then back too Gran in August. We may even slot in a trip to Romania in April. We usually stay up in the mountain region (Brasov)

Mmmmmmmmmmmm holidays...........
