Deb, I hate to have to say this, but for someone who claims to be a proponent of peace, you sure are set on stirring up a lot of grief and resentment. Indeed....it makes one wonder if peace was ever actually your goal.

for people who boasts anti-terrorism and peace, him and his gang sure have a great way of showing it.
I'm sorry I come across that way, but I am really ANGRY about the havoc this administration has caused in the world and how unquestioning people are.
Also, I dont believe people are reading or getting access in the US to what we see out here. If my posts cause even ONE single solitary person to question what this administration is doing, I'll be happy.
Everytime they come out with anyother lie or threat, it just sets me off.

Deb - "Also, I dont believe people are reading or getting access in the US to what we see out here."
I also believe that the media is controlled by the government in just about every country in the world these days......including India. So what is being done to clean up there?
I know this is probably not original, but the term "Media Puppets" comes to mind. Dig beneath the surface to find the truth.......if you dare.

attack the Indian govt. I'll be the first to agree.
However the press is free, believe it or not. and in HK too. I've been to the US a number of times, I know what the TV and papers are like, and have been able to make that comparison.
Strange that the bush adminstration seems to be courting Advani (militant Hindu leader - I DETEST the man) who is responsible for the demolition of the Babri mosque and the resultant endless hindu-muslim riots. What are they trying to pull off in India? some more subtle interference? knowing just tense relations are between hindus and muslims... India is slowly becoming a fascist state with the Hindu fanatics at the helm and the bush administration is wooing the one guy they absolutely MUST not encourage if india is to remain secular in deed.

Digging below the surface and admitting when things are just not right regardless of partisanship is tough to do, and it does not seem to be happening in the US. This affects the rest of us, since the current administration has started flexing its military might.
