Funender.com admin deleted my artist page and locked me out

There was some trouble months ago, when they have banned Priscilla from the messageboards.

I mean, you don't ban a girl and expect no big Tantrum afterwards!

However, this whole story was worked out months ago.

Then I made two rather innocent BB-Board postings yesterday,

the result you just read...

I definitely never sent out spoofed e-mails.

For which "fight" ever, I always use my real e-mail addy's.

"Spoofing" means to use someone else's IP- or mail-client configuration

to send out an anonymous e-mail with harrassive content.

That's something I never did.

What Funender did, was to "spoof" my Funender BB-Board account. :sensational

He made my postings invisible to other people, while I was able to see them. :aw

Something other people here in this thread obviously experienced themselves. :seismo

And he deleted my artist account and artist page without notification and prior warning for whatever. :party

And he made 7Mama and Mark Hewer today also "BB-Ghosts"!

I am not banned now,

he did apologize and unban me a few days after, but well it was shocking to be banned cos of doing nothing,i just said i didn't agree in streaming lists if people weren't actually listening to the music, and that's it, you know i'm not a fighting person, i didn't feel really he apologized by heart, he just justified himself for the misunderstanding, but that doesn't change the fact he banned me. I was in good willing believe son but then a friend told me that she privately was told by funender that i had never been banned at all and that i had lied, when obviously EVERYONE KNOWS , i was indeed, at leats for a couple of days. That was triggered my definitive decision to stay aside, because i don't want to be called a liar

During the couple of days i was banned, and i was not able to post, my messages were edited, and out of context, and i had to see people thinking i was a bad person because of lies, i didn't understand, and that people just did not give much credit to them.

it's true i got back but well, it did hurt me. I will visit the bbs when needed, but i've saved myself, so far to make an artist page there

FOR ME THIS IS INTERNET, AND IT'S NOT PERSONAL FOR ME, what it's serious for me is to have my music in a reliable place, and I cannot believe so if it's ruled by PERSONAL AND SUBJECTIVE CRITERIA.

i've not been involved further with the place after that, i experienced it myself, and i've seen perfectly polite people banned from the place because of posting of another music resource, you know i created a list of free resources page for indie musicians, it's not a bb or anything, just a list, but the other day i got in there, and I was afraid of posting about it, that is not good.

but I know of two good people that were banned also

Sammi morrelli, a super great sweet girl, really a sweetheart,

and scott landers that got banned because of opening a music bbs when funender was spreading,

I'm not taking any part but I know this people and the're very sweet and great people

i didn't consider that normal, so I've been very cautious

I wish the place to grow nice if it has something to offer, but there are certain truths that can't be denied. A principle of lack of freedom, absolutely. And i agree with MIke, you ARE COMPELLED to say . ALL IS GREAT, all is 10 out of 10, even your reviews will be deleted or edited,

I just don't know,

I need to get there to quit some of my photos, that i have hosted now on my site, and i think the bbs can offer a good aid, and there a lot of nice people, as in any music community, but the balance, for me now is very clear

Mike is not a bad person, he can be effusive, but at least always honest, which is something he couldn't be on there.

from now on , i just won't name about this issue anymore

but e-mails? laws? rubbish! dunno

and btw it seems also that private messages have been posted, read and saved on there, or at least i've been told this has happened to several people.

I am not telling anything, just portrraying what i've been told. I was on the site since it was created.

i wish luck to funender and the site, honestly, I really do, i wish no bad luck to everyone, but I know some of my friends, some even in real person as you know,

and as their policy regarding a music site is not one that i'm agreeing with at the moment, so i am just not mentioning it further.

I have to get there one of theses days because i want to delete some pictures I have hosted on there, and i hope to greet some good friends that i have still on there, but besides i just cannot allow myself to have any kind of troubles like these ones, and i've seen up to ten of my friends in music (besides myself) being banned in a raw
