I've never even played a Gretsch guitar... I do agree that the older guitars sound and feel way better than new guitars. Sometimes I go to a rehearsal studio in town called President and all it's guitars are from the Sixties and Fifties - heavy chunky things but boy do they sound great! I'll have a better look next time and post some pics for you.

You really do sound enamoured about guitars! Good for you! They are wonderful things to have a passion about. I think one day you WILL build yourself a guitar - as a start - hahaha :boink

Here..

Not that large of a guitar or thick bodied, light also and one George Harrison played on many Beatle recordings as well as toured with, you may consider that model someday, the 6120 Nashville also has friendlier dimensions..

My favorite is the Country Gentleman, I'd love to have another one someday, a 50's era single cutaway would be my first choice.

The bad thing about them is if you own one, they're probably best left at home.., they tend to walk away real fast when you're not looking.. But for personal use at home or in the studio, you can't beat them..
